Wealden began confidently from the start, with Lauren and Tina shooting from all distances in the circle and capitalising on rebounds. There was always strong attacking movement from Trudie and Amy at centre throughout and excellent intercepts from Chloe at wing defence, who gained valuable possession on numerous occasions. Lucy at goal defence gave a consistent performance as always putting the opposite goal attack under enormous pressure. Likewise, Hattie reacted quickly under the post with good rebounds.

At half time, Sally and Tina were replaced with Kelly at wing defence, Amy at wing attack and Chloe moving to goal attack.

By three quarter time, the score was 45-11 to Wealden and the team continued in this way to the end, producing a fine 63-15 result.
