22th October 2011 Wealden Black vs Hornets Purpler Final Score: 36 v 8

It was a strong start with Wealden Black dominating the first quarter with a score of 7-1; they consolidated their lead with 16-4 at the end of the 2nd quarter with Francesca’s smooth quality shooting, which she made look so effortless.

The game became scrappy from both sides during the third quarter but Wealden regained their form and won the match with a difference of a 28 goal lead. Bella played an excellent defence throughout the game.

A special mention to Chris Straw who regained the ball with such skill, elegance and of course handbag flapping.
