24th Sept 2011 Wealden 3 vs Telstars 3 Final Score: 42 v 45
A thoroughly enjoyable and very closely faught contest.
The score was tied at half time after a big 2nd 1/4 that saw everyone pull together and come back from 7 down. We kept our nerve and it eventually came down to Telstars turning over one of our centre passes in the last couple of minutes of the game and they went on to win by 3. Bring on the re-match!!
A big thankyou to Caitlin for playing though sickness as without her we would not have been competing to win at the end.
