Maidstone & Malling League 29th Sept 2011 Wealden vs TTE Final Score: 55 v 28
This game was a typical Wealden match. Everyone played well, but we found it hard to concentrate right til the end. Amazing shooting from our GS/GA Lauren Pedelty, and my personal player of the match to Lucy (GD), who consistently made very important interceptions in the match, and appeared from no where to make them. The defence truly played the best I have seen them.
In the second quarter the team played well again, doing everything they needed to, to stay in the lead.
In the second half the game was very up and down and lack of concentration in parts of the game, shown by the score in the last quarter, luckily it didn't affect the out come of the game.
In the last quarter the game for both teams took a silly turn, with the shooters being on their bums, more than their feet and a lot of laughing, coming from the Wealden shooting end. The defence played very well, and brought us though the last part of the game.
In the first quarter we scored 16 and let in 4, really shows how well the defence did! The second quarter, 31-14. The third quarter 48-19 and the final score (not to sure what happen in the last quarter 55-28.
Great team performance by all; Lauren, Kelly Sally, Emma, Lucy, Hattie, Trudie and Chloe.
Onwards and upwards look forward to the next game.
