A good warm up saw the team start this game far more positively. The ball passed easily down the court and Wealden were in the lead 9-3 at the end of the first quarter.

Great defence from Kath and Georgie, who both made some super interceptions, stopped Comets from scoring on numerous occasions as the game continued.

At the start of the second half Wealden had a good lead that they managed to hold on to. Emma Johnson, player of the match, controlled the play in the centre court with great support from Mia, Paige and Sophie.

Georgie moved to GS in the second half teaming up with Lilly as GA and Wealden gradually pulled away from the opposition to finish the game with more than double Comets score.
