The Club

Wealden’s first team compete in the London & South East (L&SE) Regional 1 League against some of the toughest teams in the region. They achieved a respectable 3rd place position at the end of last season narrowly missing out on an opportunity to go for the Premier League play-offs.

Wealden’s second team compete in the Kent County Senior League achieving an unbeaten 1st place at the end of last season.
Locally Wealden compete with three senior teams in the North West Kent League (NWK) with two teams in Division 1 and in the Maidstone and Malling League in the Premier Division.

Our U14 and U16 squads compete in the Kent County Junior League and locally we have U12, U14 and U16 teams in the NWK Junior League. This year the club has secured a position in a new junior league outside the county which will provide an opportunity for players to experience netball against some different opposition, an exciting challenge for our younger members.

Also, this season sees Wealden involved in a community project to make netball more accessible for all. As part of the England Netball’s ‘Back to Netball’ scheme Wealden has set up two 10 week sessions at Hadlow College providing basic skills and training for women aged from 16, but with a clear focus on enjoyment and having fun.
