At 11 am a 2-minute silence was held across all courts to remember the Armed Forces, and their families, the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.
Wealden 1 took on KCNC 1 in division 1 coming away with the win 41-32. Wealden 2 played a tough Crystal Palace 1 team, and with a number of injuries and illnesses unfortunately lost 55-30. Wealden 3 played a very physical New edition team, with a loss 51-31. With Wealden 4 it was anybody’s game with 1 goal in it all the way to Q3 turnover rate was high but it just wasn’t being converted. The effective GK for the opposition dominated the final quarter and sadly left the 4s to have their first loss of the season by only 6 goals.
