A wet and slippery match today for Wealden 5 and knowing they has many players missing there were going to be some unusual combinations. Great start at the end of Q1 Wealden took the lead 19-3 but Q2 saw a 9-goal draw between the teams. Fortunately, still with the 19-goal lead they could take some chances on positioning and had a comfortable Q3 14-5. The final winning score 56-24.
Wealden 1 was lucky to be inside for their match against Leyton Netball Club in Division 3 of the London and South East Regional League. It was a close one! Despite being 8 up at ½ time Leyton did not make it easy for us, but we hung on to take the win 36-34! Congrats to our opposition POM Tiffany Haughton and coaches POM Paula Costa! 5 points in the bag
