Wealden County Squad took on Comets at home today. Was a tough game for their first outing for many at county level, playing some experienced Comets players.
We played with heart and guts but weren’t always able to get turned over balls to the circle. Final score 26-40. POM to Katie Issac for her incredible work rate and tenacious defending, really shutting down the WA. It was not the result we wanted but a lot to learn from.
