Since 2009 we have presented this award to a member who has shown outstanding commitment to Wealden.  Voted by the Committee

2014 Award presented to Jose Young

Jose has been a member of Wealden for many years.  Not only playing, but as Head Junior Coach for many years.   Recently, having retired from both playing and full time coaching, Jose has still maintained an active role, assisting with both Junior and Senior Selection, attending matches as sideline coach when she can and being a much valued member of the Committee.  Her last position was Vice Chair, but due to other personal commitments she has now decided to step down from that role, but will still be very much on the scene.
